Let not your misfortunes discourage you
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burdens upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved

Misfortunes are part of life. They build our character and faith making us better christians and humans. What are misfortunes?

A misfortune can be said to be any occurrence in your life that brings you sorrow and pain.

The verse above says cast all your burdens on God and He will sustain or help you overcome it.

The bible says weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.

Misfortunes are meant to be temporary, that is , endure for a night (is meant to last only for a season) but victory is certain to come afterwards( joy comes in the morning)

Therefore do not get discouraged by a misfortune, turn it over to God in prayer and get on with your life. God will certainly resolve issues. You may not know when or how but He certainly will make a way.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.
Persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed.

Some misfortunes leave lifelong scars like the verse above says. You may be bombarded with trouble from all angles but do not get discouraged. God will sustain you and work everything out for your good.

Keep praying, studying the word, applying it to your life and creating a constant atmosphere of praise and worship.
