Look to the Lord and live
Psalm 25:15
Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for He shall pluck my feet out of the net

Looking to the Lord to live requires that we rely on the Lord completely for our needs and for deliverance from danger or harm

In the verse quoted above, the Psalmist says his eyes are always on the Lord so that He can deliver him from danger or harm.

Joshua 1:5 says
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

This is God’s promise to all His children who have responded to the “Great Commission” in Matthew 28:19-20 and have dedicated their lives to winning souls for the kingdom.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God

As we fulfill the “Great Commission” let us imitate our Lord Jesus’ example as described in the verse from Hebrews

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to trust God, for guidance and direction for all you do.
2. God’s guidance and direction can be found in the bible, study it thoroughly.
