Lord, give me compassion for the lost
Isaiah 30:18
And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore would be exalted, that He may have mercy (compassion) upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgement: blessed are all they that wait for Him.

To have compassion is to feel the pain or need of another as your own such that you are moved to help the person.

The bible says those who are not saved cannot be part of God’s kingdom, Matthew 13:42 says such people would be thrown into a furnace of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Would you want your loved one to spend eternity in torment while you enjoy in heaven?

Do not force or intimidate anyone to get saved, pray earnestly for God to give compassion for the Lost. When you are moved with compassion you reach out to the lost (unsaved) with love and much prayer

Matthew 14:13-14
When Jesus heard of it, He departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed Him on foot out of the cities.
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion towards them, and He healed their sick.

Do not be concerned only about the soul getting saved, that is important. However, reaching out in love and providing the needs of others(Jesus healed the sick and feed them as well) is more likely to convince them to get saved.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Target people in your school, workplace, neighbourhood etc.
2. Pray for them individually to get saved.
3. Preach the word to them and help meet their needs.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of this day. Help me to reach out to the unsaved around me Amen.
