Lord, Heal our Land
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

There are signs in all countries that there might be a global recession soon. Some countries are at war, others have famine, drought and hunger. Our world needs help and healing.

The verse above says if we will humble ourselves before God ( repent from our sins and ask God for forgiveness) and move aways from our sins, then , He will hear our prayer and heal our land.

Jeremiah 33:3 says

Call on me, and I will answer and show you great and hidden things you do not know.

As we call on the Lord , He will reveal to us what we need to do to heal our land.

Some say, things will not get better but get worse because they are signs of the end times. Even if the end is near, the Lord will still save those that call on His name (Joel 2:30-32)

Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others

This verse from the new testament indicates that another thing that will heal our land is when we are not selfish or conceited but show genuine concern and love for one another.

God is all powerful, all knowing and everywhere, He will heal our land if we trust Him completely

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths ( Proverbs 3:5-6)
