Lord, help us to give to promote the gospel
Malachi 3:10

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

The Prophet Malachi reminds us that we are all supposed to give a tenth of our income (tithe) to the church to help spread the gospel to all nations. If you do not have money you can give some of the products from your farm as Cain and Abel did or give anything from the job from which you earn your wages or living.

The products will cater for the people of God who have dedicated their whole life to serve God like Ministers, Pastors and church workers. The money will pay for transport, venue for programmes instruments etc.

Giving for the work of God is very important because it has a blessing attached. God will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain.

2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Another important condition about giving to God, do not grumble or complain when you have to give. Give freely and willingly. Be happy that you have been considered worthy to give for the work of God.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Whenever you receive your salary, wages or profit from your job put a tenth aside, that is divide it by ten, keep nine tenth and give one tenth to the church.
2. If you are a student, give a tenth of your pocket money.
3. The bible specifically directs us to give a tenth but you could give more if you can.

Lord and Master, thank you for your grace and mercy. Help me to give freely and willingly for your work at all times.
