Lord, make your will my will
Proverbs 29:21
There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel(will) of the Lord, that shall stand.

There is a saying that:
Man proposes but God disposes.

Meaning, man can make elaborate plans but it is the will of God that will eventually prevail or come to pass.

Proverbs 29:21also gives the same message.

James 4:15
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

When we are planning anything, it is important to bear in mind that it is the will of God that prevails.

Therefore, let us seek to know God’s will on every situation which is given in the bible. Study the bible thoroughly and let it guide you in all you do.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. When you need direction on an issue, use a bible concordance or google.com to find the appropriate scripture to guide you.
2. As soon as you locate the suitable scripture, memorize it and confess it as often as possible and obey what it says.
3. For example the bible says”Love your neighbour as yourself”. You have a friend who tries to start a quarrel whenever you chat. Try not to get angry, ask yourself how you will want to be treated if you behave the same way. Do the same for your friend.

Prayer
Everlasting Father, I praise you because you are great and your mercies endure forever. Help me accept your will for me at all times. Amen.
