Lord, speak for thy servant heareth [ August 26, 2023 ]

Daily Word 🇬🇭

Lord, speak for thy servant heareth
1 Samuel 3:10
And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak for thy servant heareth

When you say ” Lord speak for thy servant heareth” you are asking God for a “performance”. How does God speak? Sometimes He speaks by dropping a verse of scripture into your thoughts or you hear an audible voice like the Prophet Samuel did in the verse above. He can also speak by vindicating you from false accusations by proving your innocence, He can heal you, deliver you from the fowler’s snare or conspiracy against you etc.

Isaiah 54:17 says

No weapon formed against you shall proper, no tongue that is raised shall stand, you have authority in the name of Jesus ( paraphrased)

Do not allow yourself to drawn into all the evil around us in the world today. Trust in God always and do what is right and there shall be a performance.

Acts 9:5
And He said, ” Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:…..

This verse from the new testament is another example of how God spoke audibly to a human being, the Apostle Paul

He had done all he could to destroy the work of God at that time. Arrested christians, put them in prison, arranged for them to be stoned and killed. He was on his way to perform one of these assignments when he was stopped by divine intervention.

A light from heaven that struck him down and God spoke to him. He later become the Apostle that wrote over half of the books in the new testament and sent the gospel to the gentiles.

But then it was done with much tribulation, imprisonments, beatings, trials etc. This should serve as a deterrent to us.
” Do unto others what you would want to be done to you”
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right.
