Love one another

Proverbs 17: 17
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

There is a song that says
We all need somebody to lean on.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 also says
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour.
No man is an island, we all need someone in times of trouble to help us pray and rely on God for a breakthrough or victory. Even in times when we receive the blessings of God we need someone to help us rejoice and thank God.
That is why God says we should love one another.

John 15: 12-13
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man, than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

How much do we have to love one another? Just like Christ loved us. We should be willing to sacrifice for our friends and loved ones to ensure that all is well with them.
1 John 4:7-8 says
Our love for one another will confirm that we are born of God and know God (prove we are Christians or children of God).
God be with you.

How can we apply the word to our lives?
1. Determine in your heart and make every effort to show love and kindness to all those you come into contact with.
2. Pray for grace and strength to achieve your aim of loving others.

Prayer
Dear God, receive all the praise and honour you deserve. Help me to love my friends and loved ones just as Christ loved me. Amen.
