Man proposes but God disposes
Proverbs 16:9
A man’s heart deviseth a way: but the Lord directed his steps

” Man proposes but God disposes” is an old popular proverb that means, a man can make all the perfect plans by his human understanding but it is God who makes these plans materialize or come true.

This is because God can see into the future and knows what is best for you.

Romans 8:28 says
All things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose.

If you pray about a plan you want to be fulfilled in your life, do not worry when some of your expectations are not met. God will give you only what is best for you.

Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Like the portion of the Lord’s prayer quoted above, we should always desire that only God’s will is fulfilled in our lives

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek for God’s will in every situation as the bible says. When there is no clear cut direction pray and do the best you can to glorify God in whatever you do

Choose out the path for me.
