Meeting God at every turn
Psalm 59:11
My God in His loving kindness will meet with me; God will let me look triumphantly upon……

During my secondary school days, I read a book written by Catherine Marshall, entitled, “Meeting God at every turn”. It talked about how God made a way through every dark situation in her life. God can do the same for you too.

Psalm 23:4 says
Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

A preacher explained the verse above by saying, in times of trouble, you do not try to make yourself comfortable and accept the situation, you walk through by asking the Lord to lead you to a better place.

The verse from Psalm 59:11 says the loving kindness of God will meet you or direct you in the time of trouble and help you overcome every obstacle successfully.

Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

This verse from the new testament is an invitation from the Lord to cast all our burdens on Him.

1 Peter 5:7 also gives a similar message:
Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to trust God at all times for deliverance.

Meditate on the words of this song

My faith has found a resting place
Not in device nor creed
I trust the ever living one
His wounds for me shall prove

I need no other argument
I need no other plea
It is enough that Jesus died
And that He died for me.
