Miracle working prayer!!
Jeremiah 33:3
Call on me and I will answer. And show you great and hidden things you do not know.

Prayer can simply be defined as talking to God. It is a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God.

In the verse above, christians are being encouraged to call unto God or pray. It does not specify when to pray or how many times to pray. It is left open.

Meaning, you can pray as many times as you wish, anywhere and at anytime and God will answer.

The bible says in Psalm 34:15 that

The Lord’s eyes are on the righteous and his ears are inclined to those who call on Him sincerely. ( Paraphrased)

And Hebrews 11:6 say

Those who come to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The major conditions for effective prayer from the two verses quoted above are:
– We should believe without any doubt that God exists though we do not see Him
– We should pray sincerely

Moses prayed for deliverance for the Israelites at the Red Sea and God answered by parting the sea and giving them dry ground to walk through ( Exodus 14)
-The Apostle Paul prayed for healing when He was struck with blindness and God sent someone to heal Him ( Acts 9)

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing

This verse from the new testament gives a third condition for effective prayer or prayer that brings results. Pray without stopping( ceasing). In other words pray until something happens

Several bible characters received miracles through prayer. Apart from Moses and the Apostle Paul, there are others like the Prophet Daniel, the three Hebrew boys, Hannah, Deborah, Timothy etc.

You can also receive your miracle if you pray sincerely without ceasing .

1. Believe always that prayer activates God’s miracle working power.
