My confidence is in the Lord
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart
And lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
And He shall direct thy path.

When you say my confidence is in the Lord, it means you have put all your trust in God. Your hope is in God.

The verse from Proverbs says:
– Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Meaning, do not even consider looking elsewhere for help.
– Lean not on your own understanding. Suggesting that you may have come across a similar situation but do not try using the same solution Leave it to God
-In all your ways acknowledge Him Every step you take must be committed into God’s hands
– He shall direct your path. When you do all that is mentioned above then God will ensure that all things work for your good.

Philippians 4:6-7
Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding. Will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

So whenever you find yourself in some kind of trouble, this verse from the new testament says do not worry, make your requests known to God and He will give you peace and keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
