My presence will go with you
Exodus 33:14-16
And He said, “My presence will go with , and I will give you rest ( by bringing you into the promised land)”…….

In the verse above, God promises the Israelites that His presence will go with them and give them rest ( help them achieve what He has promised them)

Having the presence of God with you is like having a tangible witness of God’s presence. In the book of Exodus when God delivered the Israelites from bondage in Egypt, He gave a tangible sign of His presence with them.

During the day His presence was visible in the form of a pillar or cloud before them and a pillar of fire behind them. They were fully protected by God.

Today, we do not have a pillar of cloud or fire to represent His presence with us. However, we have the Holy Spirit present in our hearts. John 14:26 says:

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father, will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you

The Holy Spirit comforts, guides and teaches us.

Matthew 28:20
…..for lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

This verse from the new testament is similar to the one from Exodus. God assures us of His presence with us.

You are never alone, you always have the presence of God with you. Step out in faith and fulfill your mission of helping save the world
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Believe that the presence of God is with you always, you are never alone.

Meditate on the words of this song

You are with me
Jehovah, you are with me
You are with me evermore
You are the Lord and you say you will
So you are with me evermore.
