Psalm 148:13
Let them praise the name of the Lord: for His name alone is excellent: His glory is above the earth and heaven

Names are very important all over the world. In Ghana we believe that when you are given the name of a great man or woman, you will also become great.

When certain names like Queen Elizabeth the queen of England or President Joe Biden, the American president or the Pope are mentioned or attached to a transaction, it carries a lot of weight.

However, when you mention the name Jesus, the bible says
Every knee in heaven and on earth including that of principalities and powers will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. (Philippians 2:10-11)

Philippians 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:

Every power in the universe responds or bows to the name Jesus because God has given Him the name above every name as the verse above says.

There are times I can testify that I mentioned the name Jesus in the midst of danger or difficulty that I have been saved. Whenever you need help, call the name “JESUS” and you will be saved

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Believe without any doubt that Jesus saves at all times.
