Daily Word

Not by might nor by power
Zechariah 4:6
Then He answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord.

The verse above encourages us as Christians and children of God not to be overwhelmed with our challenges. We should rather rely on God for the grace and strength to overcome them

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we be have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

This verse also says we are not to rely on our good works or acts of righteousness for our salvation. Salvation is a gift from God. Just receive and accept it. The grace and power of God is available, accept it by faith in Jesus’s name.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make sure you are saved.
2. Each day ask God for the grace and strength to complete the tasks, assignments, and projects ahead of you.
2. Never think you have all the abilities and strength you need to complete any assignment, especially when you have done it before. Always talk to God first.

Prayer
Almighty God, you are great and mighty and you can do all things. Help me to trust and rely on you at all times. Amen.
