Not by might, nor by power
Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
There are times when we feel we do not have the strength or wisdom to overcome a challenge. The good news is that God knows you cannot use your own strength and wisdom to make it in life. He, therefore, provided us with His Spirit to enable us to overcome the problems and obstacles in our lives.
Philippians 4:13 says
I can do all things through Christ ( that is His Spirit who lives in us when we are born again) who strengthens me.
Always remember that with Jesus on your side you form an unbeatable team. There is no mountain you cannot climb and no obstacle you cannot pull down.
God be with you.
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. To enjoy the blessings of God through His Spirit who strengthens you overcome all obstacles you must be saved.
2. Read John 3:16 and Romans 10:9-10 and follow the steps given to get saved.
3. Contact a Pastor in a Bible-believing church near you to pray with you and baptize you by immersion.
4. Attend church regularly and be committed to the work of God.
Prayer
Father in heaven, give me the strength and wisdom to complete all my assignments today. Amen.
