Nothing without you
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the God of all flesh: is anything too hard for me?

For most people, God is the helper of last resort. When they have tried all other powers and dieties and they fail then they turn to God.

But the bible says:
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

There is a song which says
I am nothing without you
An eagle without wings
If I forget about you
I’ll lose everything
It’s the commonest feeling to be misunderstood
But with you there is no concealing
Neither bad nor good
So I am not pretending
My story never fails
Cause I ‘ve already read the ending
And your love prevails

For the Prophet Jeremiah and the songwriter quoted above, God is everything. They are nothing without Him because they believe He is the God of all flesh and there is nothing too hard for Him to accomplish.

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth fruit: for without me you can do nothing.

The Apostle John likens the Christian’s relationship with God to that of a vine and it’s branches. Without the vine, the branch would die of starvation or nutrition. Without God, the christian has no power and he/she can do nothing.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Turn to God first whenever you are faced with a challenge or obstacle.
2. Thank God for all the blessings and good things that come your way for every good and perfect gift is from our Father above. James 1:17

Prayer
Let this be your prayer

I am nothing without you
Without you
In you I live, and move and have my being.
