One step at a time!!
Numbers 23:19
God is not man that He should lie, nor the Son of man that He should repent, has He said and will He not do?

To take “one step at a time” means, do not rush, slowly and carefully complete a task. Doing a little at a time.

The verse above says God cannot lie, whatever He has promised, He will do.

He has given us christians an assignment to preach the gospel, win souls and help keep them in the kingdom of God. He has also promised that He will be with us until the end of the world. ( Matthew 28:19-20)

Scripture also says in 2 Timothy 4:2 that
We should preach the word and be instant in season and out of season.

This verse implies that we should take one step at a time ( be instant in season and out of season). Meaning our mission as ambassadors of Christ is not something we can rush through. For instance you cannot say I will start soul winning at 29 years and by 50 years I would have completed my assignment. No.

It is a whole life’s job. At every stage of life there are different people you can win to Christ and as you grow your techniques and mode of presentation improves. At 20 years you can minister more to the youth especially your classmates and friends.

But at 50 years when you have probably reached the peak of your career you have access to funds to reach a wider range of people, the youth, the old , the aged etc.

2 Corinthians 3:18
..we all are being changed from one degree of glory to the other

This verse from the new testament confirms what is explained above.

As God transforms us each day and every year, from one degree of glory to the other, He is also preparing us to be a more effective ambassadors of Christ.

Grow your ministry as an ambassador of Christ each year. Take it a step higher each year.

1. Intensify your attempts to win souls each day as God transforms you from one degree of glory to the other.
