Only believe!!!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path

“Only believe” means, do not fear, it is a command of protection, the voice of encouragement and the sound of salvation.

Implying that all you need to do is to believe and trust God and you will have the protection you need, you will receive encouragement and salvation.

This message is given in the passage above as well. The bible says in Ephesians 2:8 that

For by grace are you saved through faith. This is a gift from God not because of works that any man should boast.

Salvation in the verse above refers not only to the gift of salvation but any other thing like protection, encouragement etc. we might need from God.

God meets our needs not because of our righteousness or good we have done but because of His abundant grace. We receive from God because we believe or trust in Him.

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God , believe also in me

This verse from the new testament also confirms that God rewards or treasures our trust in Him. He wants us to believe Him fully and completely.

Today, make the decision to trust God at all times.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust and obey God at all times.
