Pledge allegiance to Christ
Joshua 24:24
Then the people said to Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and His voice will we obey

To pledge allegiance to Christ is to promise or give loyal support to Christ. This involves
declaring to serve God and to obey Him as the verse above says.

There is a song that says,
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
With all I have
With all I am
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

Will you give all you have and all to you are, and seek to honor the Lord’s commands? This is not an easy thing to do as John 16:33 says but the Lord will help you overcome your challenges

Romans 13:1
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God

This verse in the new testament confirms that there is no power that is not ordained of God. Therefore, it is better to be on the Lord’s side.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Determine in your heart to serve God faithfully and sincerely.
2. Seek to obey all His commands at all times
