Preach Christ through your lifestyle
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee

Lifestyle is your way of life. What principles govern your life? Biblical principles or worldly principles? Do you seek to glorify God in all you do?

The verse above says we should let our lights shine for the glory of the Lord or the favor of God is upon us .

If we want to preach Christ through our lifestyle then our lives should be governed by biblical principles.

Psalm 27:4 says
One thing have I desired of the Lord and that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.

Meaning, we should dedicate our lives to serving God and glorifying His name in all we do.

Matthew 5:16
Let your life so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

This verse from the new testament shows us exactly what to do to glorify God. Good works, which includes:
– Giving for the work of God and to the poor and afflicted ( Luke 6:38)
-Bearing one another’s burdens as christians( Galatians 6:2)
– Staying away from sin and obeying God’s commands( John 15:7)
– Sharing your possessions with your neighbor(John 15:12)

Doing these things will glorify God and draw other people to the kingdom of God

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek to glorify God in all you do
