1 Samuel 12:22
For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake: because it had pleased the Lord to make you His people

We all know that we are supposed to share the gospel with others and bring them to Christ, but we face so many challenges and obstacles:
-We cannot do much because of our school work and circular jobs
-We have not studied the bible well
– We do not know how to put together a good message
-People ridicule Christians who share the gospel
i) They reject them
ii) Insult them etc

However, the verse from 1 Samuel 12 says God will not forsake us because we are His people, we have accepted the gift of salvation.

We need not fear or give up because of challenges and obstacles. Even Jesus faced challenges and obstacles, the Pharisees and Sadducees always found faults with Him to get Him arrested. An example can be found in Matthew 12 when Jesus heals on the Sabbath.

1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happeneth unto you : but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy

Like this verse from 1 Peter 4 says we should rejoice in our sufferings and afflictions because we have been counted worthy of sharing in Christ’s sufferings and will also rejoice with Him in His glory.

1. Serve the Lord faithfully in spite of your challenges and obstacles
