Put God first

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

Putting God first involves seeking the will and instruction of God in every step you take. Desire to fulfill the will of God before thinking about what you want to do.

For instance, the bible says bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse of God…..(Malachi 3:8-10}
You have a lot of financial needs for a particular month. Do you reduce your tithe?

I would say, pay the full tithe as you are required to do and pray for God to provide for your needs. Once you obey the word, God will provide for you. That is trusting the Lord with all your heart and learning, not on your own understanding.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

Continue to sacrifice your time and resources to expand the kingdom of God and all other things shall be added unto you.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. To be able to put God first at all times you need to study the word of God and obey what it says.
