Redeemed to spread the gospel
Psalm 107:2-3
Let the redeemed tell their story, those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from lands, from east and west, from north and south.

According to the passage above, God wants to tell the story of how we were redeemed.

Meaning, He wants us to testify or bear witness of His goodness and mercy.

This command and desire from God for us to testify can be found in Matthew 28:19-20. Which can be summarized as ” go to the nations, win souls and make disciples for the kingdom of God. I am with you always

Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace have we been saved by faith, it is the gift of God. Not because of works lest any man should boast

This verse from the new testament, adds that apart from winning souls by telling our stories, God also wants us to do good

Ephesians,2:10 says we were created for good works. These good works include giving for the work of God and to the less fortunate. It also requires us to be kind to our neighbors, use our time, energy and resources to spread the gospel and help others, Doing this will draw more people to God

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Bear one another’s burdens, learn to share what you have with others and preach the word.

Fields are white and harvest’s waiting

Take the task He offers gladly
