Rejoice in the Lord always
Habukkuk 4:18
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The Prophet Habakkuk found himself in a very distressing situation. His crops were not bearing fruit, he lost all his cattle and he was not getting the expected result from whatever he did. Yet he said he will rejoice in the Lord the God of his salvation. He knew the joy of the Lord was his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), losing his joy would bring him complete failure.

Learn to praise , thank God for victory and rejoice even when your circumstances point to the fact that all hope is lost.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I say, Rejoice.

The Apostle Paul also says we should rejoice in the Lord always. If you read Philippians 4:5-6 he says we should not worry about anything. We should rather pray and thank God for victory. In short, rejoicing in the Lord will hasten your victory.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. In your time of need rejoice and thank God for the victory and not for the problem.
2. Always remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Prayer
Merciful God, thank you for the gift of life. Help me to rejoice and thank you for the victory, no matter how difficult my challenges are. Amen.
