Sanctified by Christ

Sanctified by Christ
Leviticus 22:32
Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow (sanctifies) you

In the verse above, the Lord says, He is the God that hallows us or sanctifies us. That means, He forgives us all our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness, so that we are set apart for special service.

1John 1:9 says
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This implies that, God can sanctify us only when we acknowledge our sins and confess them, with the aim of receiving forgiveness and cleansing.

Joshua 3:5, says , Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow I will do wondrous things among you. If we want God to move in our lives and use us, then we must be sanctified.

Hebrews 2:11
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.

God is not ashamed to call us His own , when we confess our sins and He sanctifies us.

As the youth, the adults and old people in this end times, if we want to see the move of God, where God uses everyone mightily as Joel 2:28 says, then we have to ask God to sanctify us all.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. First of all ask God to sanctify you. You can do this by acknowledging and confessing your sins
2. Then you can ask God to give you the grace and strength to keep away from sin and prepare you for service in the kingdom of God.

Prayer
Think about the words of this song:
As the Lord has called us out of this world
Let us stay outside
He is looking for a righteous people holy in His sight
Looking for a people who have chosen that which pleases Him
And will freely stay away from this world’s attitude and sin

He says Sanctify yourself
For tomorrow I will do wondrous things among you.
Amen
