Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

At every point in time God preserves a remnant of a generation, to help raise another generation of believers or people who trust in Him.

There is the story of Noah and His family who were used as a remnant to raise another generation. Lot and His family were preserved after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jacob and his family were preserved by Joseph in Egypt after the great famine in the land of Israel.

In a similar way, there is so much wickedness and evil in the world today. God is relying on us, that is Christians to help save or win others for Christ.

The Lord’s glory or favor is on us now as the verse above says, let us arise and shine.

Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you always ..

The passage above shows us exactly what to do when we go out to win souls. Teach the message of salvation, baptize those who get saved and teach them to obey His commandments. God is with us always.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for grace and strength to be a good ambassador of Christ.

2. Remember that yours is to present the message simply and clearly. Do not force or intimidate people to accept Christ. The Holy Ghost does the conviction
