Seek first the kingdom of God
Psalm 119:165
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them

Another translation says
Those who love your teachings will find true peace, and nothing will defeat them

Seeking first the kingdom of God I believe involves:
-Looking for or searching for God to know Him better
-To make Him our God and master
-To turn to Him first for help and direction in all we do.

The verse above says those who love the law of the Lord or His teachings find true peace and nothing can defeat them.

For instance the bible says God has your welfare at heart(Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore if you fail to meet your target at school or at work. You do not give up, you continue working hard knowing that God will eventually make a way for you to met your target because He has your welfare at heart.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

If you continue trusting the Lord with all your heart and acknowledging Him in all you do, you will be rewarded like the verse above says.

You will obtain all that you need and strive for
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Love the word of God:
– Read, study and memorize it
-Obey or do what it says
– Let it be the manual for your life i.e let it guide and direct you in all you do

Prayer
Make this your prayer

Help me to trust you Lord in all I do
Let me not lean on my own understanding
In all my ways let me knowledge you
So that you can direct my path. Amen
