Serve the Lord sincerely
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.

Being sincere involves being honest and truthful. Serving the Lord sincerely demands that you obey the Lord’s commands faithfully and praise and worship Him genuinely or honestly.

According to the verse above you can serve the Lord sincerely by trusting Him with all your heart, committing everything you do into His hands and asking for direction.

John 4:24
God is a spirit: and they that worship Him, must worship in spirit and in truth.

Today, a lot of people serve God for several selfish reasons:
– To impress people in order to gain favor and rewards
– To gain respect and some kind of status in life
– In order for God to provide their needs
– To deceive people and get them out of the kingdom of God.

In fact there are many other reasons. These are just a few. God is spirit, He knows all things and you cannot deceive Him.
(Galatians 6:7).

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Serve the Lord gladly and willing.
2. Obey all God’s commands in the bible.
3. Praise and worship Him genuinely from your heart.

Dear God, I praise, bless and adore you. Help me to serve you sincerely. Amen.
