Serve the Lord with gladness
Psalm 100:2-3
Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture

The verse above gives us the simplest and most important reason for serving God with gladness. He created us and it is our reasonable service.

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

A greater part of serving God involves preaching. The verse above says we should be ready to preach at all times, we are soldiers of the cross. Use the word of God to correct, comfort, encourage and instruct.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain

This verse describes the attitude we should have whilst serving God. Nothing should discourage us or stop us from doing the work of God.

1. Use all you have, your strength, wisdom and intelligence, time, money and possessions to serve God.
