Stay focused
Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: (focused) because he trusteth in thee.

To stay focused is to keep your attention or thoughts on something or someone in spite of the confusion or chaos around you.

The verse above says if we focus on the Lord (or our minds are stayed on the Lord) , He will keep our minds in perfect peace.

“Perfect” peace is peace that does not depend on our circumstances. Whether in chaos or in a comfortable environment we still have our peace.

Hebrews 3:1
Therefore holy brothers and sisters, who share the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts (focus) on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our Apostle and High Priest.

The Apostle Paul encourages us to focus on Christ and not our circumstances. As we fulfill our ministry as Christians and children of God lets learn to focus on Jesus and not our challenging circumstances.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. When we come across challenges like rejection,or we are mocked for being Christians we should not be discouraged or stop winning souls. Let’s keep our attention on Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen us.

Prayer

Oh God our help in ages past and our hope for years to come. Be our shelter from the stormy blasts of life and our eternal hope. Amen.
