Store up treasure in heaven
Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall be room enough to receive it

Many people spend all their time storing up worldly treasures. They forget sometimes that as Christians our final destination is heaven where earthly treasures like cars, houses, land etc would be useless.

It is better to spend more time storing heavenly treasures like the souls we win, helping the afflicted, paying tithes and other financial obligations that will help build the church and win more souls.

Like the verse above from Micah says when we store heavenly treasures God will shower His blessings on us.

Matthew 6:33 says
Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven (accept the gift of salvation and serve God faithfully) and its righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you (the cars, houses, land etc God will add as blessings)

Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and wherewith thieves break through and steal: But lay up treasures in heaven,……

Another reason why it is not prudent to store up only earthly treasures is that you can easily lose everything through fire, floods, destruction by pests and it can also be stolen by thieves

No one can steal or destroy your heavenly treasures. Spend more time storing treasures in heaven where you can have eternal Bliss.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Accept the gift of salvation if you have not done so already. Follow instructions in (Romans 10:9-10)
2. Strive to win more souls and serve God faithfully
