Sweetest name I know
Isaiah 9:7
And of the increase of His government, there shall be no end

“Jesus is the sweetest name we know” as christians because it reminds us of God’s great love for mankind. His death and resurrection saved us from the punishment we deserve. In spite of our disobedience and sin we are free from the death penalty ( Romans 6:23) and have eternal life through Jesus Christ ( John 3:16)

The verse above says the increase of His government has no end meaning, He has unlimited power and authority and can deliver us from any bondage we find ourselves in. His name is sweet to believers because it gives us hope.

The bible says in Romans 5:5 that

and hope maketh not ashamed, because of the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts…..

We are assured of victory once we dedicate our lives to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and serve faithfully in the kingdom of God

Matthew 28:18
All authority in heaven and earth has been given unto me.

This verse from the new testament says all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus.

We need not fear anything because Jesus has the answer to all life’s challenges
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Accept the gift of salvation if you have not done so already.
