Take over!
Isaiah 40:31
They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as the eagle. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faint

To ask God to “take over” your life is to surrender your life, your will and your desires to God. Humans love to be in control of affairs therefore it is not easy to surrender completely to God. But we must, it favors us. It keeps us from experiencing unnecessary pain, failures and over exerting our energy.

The verse above says those that “wait on the Lord” ( dwell continually in the presence of God, praying, studying the word and praising Him) will have their strengthen restored or renewed.

Waiting on the Lord is equivalent to asking God to take over your life because you are exhausted physically and spiritually.

The bible says that those that trust in God are like mount Zion which cannot be moved.

Philippians 1:21
For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

This verse from the new testament is also another way of asking God to take over your life.

Surrender your life, will and desires to God. Put God first in everything you do as Matthew 6:33 says

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be be added unto you.

Seek to please God in all you do and fulfill the “Great Commission” of winning souls for the kingdom of God.

1. Let the Lord have His way in your life.
