Daily Word 🇬🇭

The B-I- B-L- E
Psalm 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

The Bible is the only book that has not become obsolete( out of date or old fashioned) since it was written.

Most books have been updated with new information since it was written. So you have names like first edition, second edition etc for books that are upgraded.

The information in the Bible has not been updated to correspond to modern day living because it already has all the details we need to live a victorious Christian life.

The Psalmist in the verse above says he has hidden the word of God in his heart to prevent him from disobeying God or falling into sin.

To hide the word of God in our hearts in my opinion is to study and memorize the Bible such that it becomes part of you. Whenever you need guidance on an issue, a verse pops up in your mind

2 Timothy 3:16 says
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness.

The Message Bible translation says
Every part of scripture is God- breathe and useful one way or other- showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way.

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you

According to the verse above, when we obey the word of God (abide in the word) and allow it to change our lives, this pleases God and He will grant us all we ask for
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Let the Bible be your manual and guide.
