The countdown is getting lower
Joel 2:31
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord

The”countdown is getting lower” means the time preceding an event is reducing each day. The term is being used to describe the time left for our Lord’s second coming.

The picture painted in the verse from Joel 2:31 suggests there will be some form of climate change:
“…..the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood”

Climate change and global warming and how to limit it’s devastating effects is currently the second most important agenda for every country in the world. The first is economic and financial welfare.

This implies that the coming of Jesus is close. How close we cannot tell. However, I believe it is close enough for everybody to make serious changes in our life.

Questions like:
– Am I really born again as the bible directs?
– Am I living to please God?
– Do I have a burden for lost souls and compassion for the afflicted?
These questions should be answered sincerely and correctly to help us prepare adequately for the coming of the Lord.

Revelations 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to give every man according as His work shall be

This verse from the new testament confirms that the Lord is coming soon. If you do not want to miss your reward then make the necessary preparations now.

1. Pray for grace to prepare adequately from now.
