The Great I AM
Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me to you

The phrase “I AM THAT I AM” is in the present continuous tense. Meaning, God was, He is and will forever be. He has no beginning and no ending. He is immortal.

There is a song that says:
Jesus, fragrant rose
Jesus, gentle lamb
Jesus, loving name
You are the Great I AM.

Who else can make a path in the Red sea to allow the Israelites to walk through. What principality or power can breakdown a strong and fortified wall with shouts of praise like God did to the wall of Jericho.

In the new testament, Jesus calmed a storm on the sea with words from His mouth, He healed
the blind, lepers etc

There are several other examples of situations or events in the bible, both in the old testament and new testament, that show God’s greatness.

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Jesus also confirms that like God the Father, He is also immortal and has no beginning and no end.

Therefore, “With Christ in the vessel, you can smile at whatever storm comes your way”. This implies that with Christ in your life as your Lord and Savior, you can overcome whatever challenges come your way.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Put all your trust in God always. He is all you need.
