The Lord is our strength and shield
Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart trusteth in thee and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth: and with my song will I praise Him

The Lord is our strength and shield means the Lord sustains and protects all His own or all Christians.

When you we are surrounded with challenges and misfortunes the Lord says in Isaiah 41:10 that
Fear not, for I am with you
Be not dismayed for I am your God
I will strengthen you, I will help you
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

The Lord is ready and willing to sustain and protect us when we put all our trust in Him.

Ephesians 6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked

In Ephesians 6 the Lord makes us aware that we are constantly fighting a spiritual enemy we cannot see.

The only way to overcome our invisible enemy is to use our spiritual weapons like the shield of faith to ward off all the spiritual attacks we face.

Fear not, the Lord will strengthen and protect you.

1. Learn to exercise your faith by confessing victory in Jesus name over every challenge you face.
