The Lord will guide you
Psalm 37:23-24
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him

In my own words, I would say a guide is someone who knows a terrain, area or life very well and can direct you on where to find everything you need.

God created the universe and everything in it including human beings. He knows everything there is to know about humans, animals and nature. You cannot find a more appropriate guide to direct you in the affairs of life.

To get God as your guide, you need to accept the gift of salvation, all other things will follow after that.

Psalm 119:133 says
Order my steps in thy word that sin may not have dominion over me (paraphrased). This should be every christian,’s prayer.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

This verse from the new testament confirms that the first thing you have to do to get divine guidance is to accept the gift of salvation (seek first the kingdom of God). All other things will follow after that.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1.If you have not accepted the gift of salvation. Do so as soon as possible. Read (Romans 10:9-10)
