Psalm 18:30
As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those who trust in Him

The word of God is found in the Bible which is our manual or guide as Christians.

The verse quoted above says the word of God is perfect or flawless, it has everything we need to live a good christian life.

Psalm 119:105 says
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

We should always rely on the word of God for direction and guidance.

Matthew 7:24
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a man, which built his house upon a rock

The verse above is part of a parable told by Jesus. The gist of the parable is that , he who obeys the word of God is considered as a wise man because he has built his house on a rock ,(the word) and no rain, storm or challenges in life can bring that house down or destroy that person’s life.

1. Study the word and obey what it says.
