There is a time for everything
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
God works with time and seasons. It is important to note that His time and seasons are different from ours. The bible says, a thousand years are but a day in God,’s sight (Psalm 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8 ). When you read more of Ecclesiastes 3, it says there is a time to plant and a time to pluck up(harvest). Therefore when you come before God to praise and worship or to make requests we should be patient.
Galatians 4:4 says
But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son made of woman, made under the law.
Jesus’s birth and works were predicted long before it happened. Though God’s time and seasons are different from ours, He is never late. Everything happens at the right time. When you eventually get your request, you would agree with God that it came at the best time. Never give up on your dreams and requests, God is working on them.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Whenever you pray wait patiently for an answer.
2. As you wait, pray, and thank God in advance for an answer.
3. Do not let the delay in receiving your request affect your lifestyle.
4. Continue to serve God faithfully and live well with or without your request.
Prayer
Thank you, Lord, for your goodness and mercy in my life. Help me to understand and accept that you do everything in your time. Amen.
