There is power in the blood

Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him: and with His stripes we are healed

The inhuman treatment Jesus was given on the cross caused Him to bleed. This brought us forgiveness of sin, peace, healing and deliverance from the power of the evil one.

There is a song that says:
Would you be free from the power of sin?
There is power in the blood, power in the blood
Would you over evil a victory win?
There is wonderful power in the blood.

There is power, power wonder working power
In the previous blood of the lamb.

Romans 5:9

Much more then being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

The blood of Jesus also justifies us. This means that the blood cleanses us thoroughly from our sins, and it is just as if we never sinned. There is amazing power in the blood of Jesus.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Thank God for sacrificing His Son to deliver us all this Easter.
2. Always remember that the blood of Jesus has given every Christian deliverance from the power of the evil one.

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for delivering us all by the power of your blood. Help me believe at all times that your blood will never lose its power. Amen.
