There shall be showers of blessing
Ezekiel 34:26
….And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they shall be showers of blessing

In the verse above, God promises His people that there will be showers of blessings or abundant blessings.

This can be linked with another promise of abundant blessings in Malachi 3:8-12

The Lord says when we bring our tithes, …. He will open the windows of heaven and pour out abundant blessings and rebuke the devourer on our behalf.

From the passage quoted above we can learn that, if we want showers of blessing:
– We must give generously to the work of God
– Then He will bless us abundantly and rebuke the “devourer” the evil one who has a way of snatching our wealth. He does this by creating diverse needs for expenditure like illness, natural disasters, destroying your career or business etc

In actual fact if God rebukes the devourer on our behalf, most of our problems will be solved.

Luke 12:54
And He said also to the people, when ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower and so it is.

This verse from the new testament confirms that God keeps His promise of sending showers of blessing.
