Trust and obey
Deuteronomy 28:1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the world.

According to the verse above, trusting and obeying God involves accepting the word of God and doing all it says with the firm believe that you will excel(set thee high above all nations of the world)

The bible says in Psalm 125:1-2 that
They who trust in God shall be like mount Zion which cannot be moved…..

Trusting in God gives you confidence and hope in life. You are not shaken when you face challenges because you know God will certainly make a way.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

This verse from the new testament says trusting and obeying God gives peace( that in me ye will have peace).

Do not be moved or shaken by challenges, only be moved by the word of God and forever stand or rely on the word of God.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right.

Prayer
Meditate on the words of this hymn

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His word
What a glory He sheds on our way
While we do His goodwill
He abides with us still
And with all
Who will trust and obey?

Trust and obey
For there is no other way
To be happy in Jesus
But to trust and obey
Amen
