Turning your dreams to reality
Genesis 37:19
And they said to one another, Behold the dreamer comes.

I once had a teacher who used to say, “when you stop dreaming, you stop living”. It is your dreams that push you to reach out for the best in life.

It was Joseph’s belief in the power and ability of God to work miracles that made his dream a reality. He never gave up on his dream even though he was in prison. He moved from prison to become Prime Minister in Egypt even though he was a foreigner and a slave. (Genesis 37, Genesis39- Genesis41)

Never give up on your dream, no matter what happens.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Circumstances and rules in the world makes it difficult to achieve dreams, especially when you are poor, disabled in some way or you are at a disadvantage because of your social status.

The verse above says do not get discouraged, be of good cheer (be happy or rejoice), you can achieve your dreams because you serve a God who is an overcomer.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for your dreams to become a reality each day.
2. Expect the best no matter how discouraging your circumstances may be.
