Daily Word

Unending joy
Psalm 30:5
For His anger endureth for a moment: in His favor is life: weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.

Biblical joy can be defined as a feeling of great pleasure or satisfaction that is based on who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

Unlike the definition of joy given in the dictionary, biblical joy does not depend on our circumstances.

That is why Nehemiah ,8:10 says the joy of the Lord is our strength. It gives us energy to move on even when our circumstances look bleak.

John16:22
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

If you want unending joy, trust in the Lord and no one or no challenge can take away your joy. Even when your circumstances are not encouraging and you are filled with grief , the bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 that rejoice always.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in the Lord at all times to turn your mourning into dancing.(Psalm 30:11-12)

2. Spend time praising and worshipping God each day, for in the presence of God there is fullness of joy.(Psalm 16:11)

Prayer
Let this be your confession

I have joy in my heart
Deep deep down in my
Jesus came to me
And no one can destroy it
I have joy in my heart deep deep down in my heart. Amen
