Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Hurray! Christmas day is here. The great and mighty ruler has been born. As we celebrate and remember the birth of Christ, set some time apart to reflect on the salvation and redemption Christ’s birth, life and death brought to all men.
Matthew 2:2
Saying, Where is He that is borñ King of the Jews,? For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.
Just as God told the prophets of old, Jesus was born in exactly the same circumstance that was prophesied long ago. Like the three wise men did let us all spend time praising and worshipping Him today as we eat, drink and enjoy the day.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. If your church does not hold a Christmas day service, spend some time in the morning when you wake-up and in the evening when you go to sleep, praising, worshipping and thanking God for the gift of His son.

Great and mighty ruler of the earth. Thank you for sacrificing your son to save us all. Amen.
