What shall I render to my God?
Psalm 29:1-2
Give thanks unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord, the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

What shall I render to my God? Means, what can I give back to my God?

There is a Methodist hymn that says:
What shall I render to my God
for all His mercy’s store?
I take the gifts He hath bestowed
And humbly ask for more.

The verse above says
You can give Him thanks and glorify His name
And worship Him in the beauty of His holiness(worship Him genuinely from your heart)

2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.

This verse also says we should thank God for always causing us to triumph.

We can thank God by:
– Prayer, praise and worship songs.
– Giving testimonies to others of what God has done for you.
– Winning souls and serving God faithfully and willing(taking on church assignments).
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for grace and strength to be able to thank God in all the ways mentioned above.

Prayer
Now thank we all our God
With hearts and hands and voices
Who wondrous things has done
In whom this world rejoices
Who from our mother’s arms
Has kept us on our way
With countless gifts of love and still is ours today
Amen.
