Daily Word 🇬🇭

Who is on the Lord’s side?
Exodus 32:25-26
…..Who is on the Lord’s side?

To be on the Lord’s side is to accept and believe Jesus’ teachings and live by them. God foreordained that those who accept the Lord’s teachings and live by them will be blessed.

In the verse above Moses wanted to know which of the Israelites or the number of Israelites would show commitment to the Lord.

It is also important today to determine which christians are ready to remain faithful to God no matter the cost.

The bible says in Matthew 9:37-38
…..the harvest is ripe but the laborers are few, pray for the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers…..

People need the Lord more now than ever. In the world today there is increase in crime, violence, cheating, backbiting, murder etc.

A songwriter said

Jesus now more than ever
We are sailing through stormy weather
All His children should get together
For we need Jesus now more than ever.

God is counting on you and I to spread His word and lift Him up as the answer to all challenges

John 16:33

…..the world will make you suffer but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

This verse from the new testament says that our assignment of lifting Jesus up, will not be easy.

We will have many challenges but let’s take heart, push away our challenges and spread the word.

Are you on the Lord’s side? Then determine in your heart to spread the gospel, for the world needs Jesus now more than ever.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Spread the gospel by lifting Jesus up. Tell your friends and family Jesus has the power to save and deliver from all kinds of challenges.

Prayer
Meditate on the words of this song

Who is on the Lord’s side
Who will serve the king
Who will be His helpers
Other lives to bring
Who will leave the world’s side
Who will face the foe
Who is on the Lord’s side
Who for Him will go?

By thy call of mercy
By thy grace divine
I am on the Lord’s side
Saviour always thine
Amen
