Who is on the Lord’s side?
Exodus 32:26
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him
In life it is important to declare your religious stance or:
– You will be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine as Ephesians 4:14 says
-You will not know where to turn to or who to rely on in times of trouble
-You will not have any security or cover of protection (Psalm 23:4)
In the verse above, Moses spent time with the Lord to get the ten commandments. In spite of all the miracles and demonstrations of God’s power, the Israelites decided to create another deity for themselves because Moses had spent a long time in the presence of God. Perhaps he was not coming back.
When Moses saw the golden calf they had created as an idol, he got so angry and asked them to declare their stand. Who is on the Lord’s side.
In the world today, there are several religious options. Human beings have been able to achieve a lot of success in the field of medicine, science and technology and believe they are superior, forgetting that God gave them wisdom to create all these things.
Will you choose to accept the gift of salvation and be on the Lord’s side or you will turn to other deities?
2 Timothy 2:4
No man that warrreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier
If you choose to be on the Lord’s side then you will have push away all the cares of this world that will hinder your mission as a christian ( no man that warrreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life).
Today, decide to surrender your life to God , if you have not done so already. Continue to serve the Lord faithfully, if you have already given your life to Christ.
